About BloodPressureProfiler.com

Health and Beauty Store

The Blood Pressure Profiler tracking software was developed by Arthur ("Art") Lewis, an engineer and manager in the manufacturing and telecommunications industry for 29 years and graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration (PMD-18, Dec., 1969). He also is a registered Master Electronics Technician in radio and TV with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has held this license (No. 8343) for over 30 years.
Having been diagnosed with high blood pressure in 2000, Art began tracking his blood pressure at home and at work on an Excel* spreadsheet to determine his average and peak values. He was surprised to discover a wide variation in his blood pressure during the course of the work day attributed to vocational stress.
The information he analyzed also correlated well with his physician's office results. After retirement in 2004, he further developed the Blood Pressure Profiler software by adding expanded features. This website was launched to offer the tracking software and to provide insight for others into their daily blood pressure trends at home and in the work environment.
Blood Pressure Profiler is a Microsoft Excel* workbook. If you have another spreadsheet program other than Excel* installed on your PC, you should download our Free Trial Version and test for compatibility. If the Free Trial Version works well and is formatted properly, our other software products will also work well. They are all based on the same platform of calculation algorithms.
Personal home tracking of blood pressure is recommended by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institiute and can be used to monitor the effectiveness of life-style changes, diet, and exercise or blood pressure medication while in treatment by a physician. The Blood Pressure Profiler spreadsheet is a convenient and intuitive method for blood pressure tracking and analysis, since the Excel* file can easily be transferred between work and home on a CD/RW or flash drive and used on any computer with Excel* or compatible spreadsheet.
This website also offers helpful information on health and blood pressure to all visitors. Our "Health Resources" page includes links to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on heart health and other health related matters, as well as to the Hypertension Health Center from WebMD and MedicineNet. We hope this website will help educate our visitors on the importance of detecting and managing high (or low) blood pressure. Early detection and professional diagnosis can help to prevent the long-term negative health effects of uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension).
The Blood Pressure Profiler website development began in 2004. The website was launched in January 2006. It is privately owned and licensed to do business as Blood Pressure Profiler in Plano, Texas. Please use our "Contact Us" page for more information.
