The software tests and tracks blood pressure using statistical analysis. It provides an accurate picture of your blood pressure over the period of several days and reveals high and low points often missed by an occasional single measurement. You will learn your average and median values as well as the low and high points. This information is shown in both tabular and graphical form and summarized in a Tracking Log for your records and for your physician. Find out if you have a high degree of variation in your blood pressure during a typical week at home and at work. See the role that stress may be playing on your blood pressure. Show the results to your physician to see if you may need professional treatment to reduce your blood pressure. Our software may be used by individuals or by the whole family. We have versions designed for each and for patients already under treatment by a physician.
The software provides information similar to that collected by an ABPMNote 1 (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor), giving a broad picture of the behavior of your blood pressure during waking hours (not during sleep) over the course of a week or longer, but without wearing special equipment.

To monitor adult heart health while in treatment for lowering high blood pressure.
For health club members and athletes in training to track blood pressure while exercising.
To monitor children's blood pressure. Determine if your child has hypertension (high blood pressure). Increased attention is being given these days to pediatric and young children's blood pressure. Our Tracking Log can be provided to your child's physician or pediatrician for correlation Note 2 to age, height, and weight charts.
Note 1: Blood Pressure Profiler is not intended to be a substitute for or to replace ABPM equipment. Rather, the software is a convenient way to evaluate your blood pressure during waking hours over time using an inexpensive portable blood pressure monitor. The results should be shared with your physician, who may then determine if an ABPM is an appropriate analytical treatment option.
Note 2: Classification tables used in Blood Pressure Profiler are for adults. However, the measurement data collected in the Tracking Log can be used by your pediatrician or child's family doctor to correlate with clinical tables for children, taking into account age, height, and weight variations to determine the proper classification. Pediatric and childen's monitors with smaller cuffs are available to fit children for many portable monitors on the market. Check with your pharmacist for recommendations.
